The ETN Fomosapien Rocket To Mars’ Moons Club. Vol2; It’s all about the Gig

Okay guys, sent this PM to @chris.gorman

Hello Chris, I know how busy you must be. Loved your report, really nice read.

Congratulations to you and the entire ETN team for taking ETN to the next level and beyond with the recent updates to the structure of the blockchain.

I was planning on contacting you later on when things maybe had slowed down for you and the team a little, but you asked for info about any possible partner organizations and NGO’s and let’s be honest…things probably aren’t going to slow down for you guys in the office anytime soon.

I’ll try to keep it as short as possible although there is so much I could and would love to write while I have your attention. If you’ve ever stumbled across any of my replies or posts here on the community forum, you know how much I love this project and the potential I see in ETN to effect positive changes in lives of those who need it most. You all have my deepest respect.

I know ETN can’t possibly save everyone that suffers from poverty and low quality of life… but ETN sure as hell can give it your best shot, and in doing so will do great things along the way.

I love you guys and what you are about as a company and the people involved on the team and the project… and as weird as that may sound to hear from a stranger, it doesn’t make it any less true. I’m proud to be a tiny part of history in the making.

With that said, I’ll get on with the purpose of this particular message.

Potential NGO or Charitable Organization Mining Partners or just some places to reach out to and see if there is any sort of good fit for ETN platform implementation on some level within their organization, even if it’s just cloud miner and user account setup.

This first one is located in India and seeing how that is a country that ETN has met a lot of resistance and is also considering banning Crypto altogether. It could be a great place to pursue quickly. Maybe the organization heads have the ear of someone in the gov’t, the founder was jointly awarded the Nobel Peace Prize in 2014. Who knows, worth looking into them because they seem to be making a big difference helping children who are being exploited for mining Mica, kids as young s 3-4 yrs old mining in unsafe conditions for .25 a day, not going to school. No hope for a better future… slave labor.

This might be the way to show the India Gov’t how ETN and crypto could bring money into the economy, not take it out of the economy.

Start by watching this documentary posted by ETN Community member @Jernej first. Credit goes to him/her. I’ve put the Foundation info below, which is also listed under the youtube video.

Kailash Satyarthi Childrens Foundation

Kailash Satyarthi, Founder – 2014 Nobel Peace Laureate
Nagasayee Malathy, Executive Director

Kailash Satyarthi has been a tireless advocate of children’s rights for over three decades. In 2014, he was jointly awarded the Nobel Peace Prize for “struggle against the suppression of children and young people and for the right of all children to education.”

Also I was thinking that it might be possible to get someone like Lexy Lebsac or someone to produce a weekly or monthly series about ETN in the communities ETN operates in with live partnerships, the work NGOs and non profits are doing ect ect, once things get rolling along nicely.

The next couple are things I posted before on the forum and I’ll let you piece together the contact info or possible NGOs in those areas who may be worthy of working with.

Have a read of this fascinating story and ponder how and with what local organization ETN could partner to make a change there.

(Reuters) - U.S. President Donald Trump on Thursday criticized Bitcoin, Facebook’s proposed Libra digital coin and other cryptocurrencies and demanded that companies seek a banking charter and make themselves subject to U.S. and global regulations if they wanted to “become a bank.”

“I am not a fan of Bitcoin and other Cryptocurrencies, which are not money, and whose value is highly volatile and based on thin air,” Trump wrote on Twitter.

“If Facebook and other companies want to become a bank, they must seek a new Banking Charter and become subject to all Banking Regulations, just like other Banks, both National and International,” he added. Facebook said last month it would launch its global cryptocurrency in 2020. Facebook and 28 partners, including Mastercard Inc (MA.N), PayPal Holdings Inc (PYPL.O) and Uber Technologies Inc (UBER.N), would form the Libra Association to govern the new coin. No banks are currently part of the group.

JPMorgan Chase & Co (JPM.N), the largest U.S. bank by assets, plans to launch its own digital coins.

Trump’s comments come one day after Federal Reserve Chairman Jerome Powell told lawmakers that Facebook’s plan to build a digital currency called Libra could not move forward unless it addressed concerns over privacy, money laundering, consumer protection and financial stability.

Powell said the Fed had established a working group to follow the project and was coordinating with other countries’ central banks, several of which have also expressed concern about Facebook’s digital currency project.

The U.S. Financial Stability Oversight Council, a panel of regulators that identifies risks to the financial system, is also expected to conduct a review.

Facebook, the White House and the Treasury Department did not immediately respond to requests for comment. A spokeswoman for the Federal Reserve declined to comment.

It feels like ETN is finishing this home run. This is the time where ETN is built to shine; when more of the world notices more of what this entire journey is with crypto and human rights.

C’mon Trump. Get with the program. A little more research required for Trump to come up to speed. However I can see why is president of the United States you would have to be very cautious regarding any type of unregulated asset that challenges the most powerful currency in the world

Without this price will not change a bit in a positive way, the question is when the rest of the road map (the best part of it ) will be itroduced?

Today is Friday and we’ve had a Good News WEEK.

Do you think there’ll be a cherry on the top of the cake with a partner announcement today to continue the momentum or will there be a consolidation period before?

I really feel like when gigfair goes live we will eventually see us move away from being pegged to BTC.

Gigfair has to be going live soon since CG report mentions it a lot.

I’m working through the article now, yea that’s what i’m doing, “working.”

Anyway, some early takeaways for those who haven’t read yet:

This is referring to remittance platforms. I’ve been there. It’s hard to participate in certain systems, like insurance of different kinds as an example, when you barely have enough money to get by. When you’re deciding whether you can pay your bills or have something to eat for the week, something like an expensive remittance service isn’t even a consideration. Even if it could be beneficial to you in the long term.

Once again, I’ll say ETN is “putting their money where their mouth is.” Rather than just saying we’re going after the unbanked, here is the 4 point plan of HOW we’re doing it. (Most of us here know this, but it is nice to have a graphic representation too.)

I’m off to do some real actual work for a bit, then back for some more “work.” Cheers!

Just did a small test of how many registered users Electroneum is getting per day and from 2pm BST 11/07 to today 12/07 2pm BST and it is 4,041 users registering every 24 hours, that is crazy!

Estimate Weekly 28,287
Estimate Monthly 113,148

No idea what the numbers will be like when GigFair goes live and the 20+ countries/networks.

Very exciting times.
