How is everyoneās mobile miner working??
Itās been 10 days and 1 hour since my last payout and I am at 25.77 ETN.
Given the current price of about Ā£0.005 per coin, I am mining a fraction over Ā£0.01 per day, probably about Ā£0.35 per month.
I know the marketing says up to $3 a month but if people are going to be using the miner to pay for their mobile phone, they need to know that theyāre going to get about $3 a month from it. Iād say that would be somewhere between $2.50 and $3.50 - not the ~$0.50 Iām mining at the moment.
Is this everyone elseās experience or is the miner running slow just on mine??

The idea is to give them something.
The idea is not to target the 1% of the Cryptosphere and boot the price.
The idea is to target the other 99% of traditional financial market by getting us out there as a house hold name via the existing mobile system.
In unbanked areas.
Mass use small costs = good profit .
Were dangling the carrot for the gig economyā¦sorry if its vague but thats it in simple terms.

Yes dropping some free ETN to the unbanked and the 99% and creating opportunities to buy real world things with it, exchange it, earn it, and spur entrepreneurship!

Iām not fussed about it and I know the intention is for it to entice the unbanked - i spend more on my morning coffee that I get via the MM but the point is, if you see the adverts saying up to $3 a month and you move to The Unlimited on a plan that would cost about $3 based on your expectation of being able to mine that amount of ETN, if you are unbanked, you arent going to be able to use Artis Turba (sp??) to buy some more ETN to pay the excess on your bill if you only mine $0.50 each month.
People will lose faith and return to what they were doing beforehand. If its only going to be $0.50 a month, say that else why choose $3?? Why not say up to $10 or $20?? It is still factually correct.
But, in answer to the original question, is everyone mining about 2 ETN per day??

Well hereās my thoughts on the matter. Us early investors and MM testers/users were not the intended target market for the up to $3 monthly payout, even if some of the early users/ETN members may be part of that target market demographic.
The MM was always planned from the beginning as a tool for partner integration.
Weāve been live with our first actual live mobile operator partner for just a few days. I would imagine they will see how the price moves the next few days or so, then possibly adjust payout rates now that things are for real and the intended purpose is actually being served.
it was not meant for early investors and members to load up on tons ETN during development phase. Now it can serve itās true intended purpose albeit with just the initial partner integration.
Youād think early investors would be happy that there are more coins to go around to the intended target market because ETN trickled it out a little slower while developing the systems to allow them to go live with mobile partners.

Well the team isnāt even back at HQ yet, isnāt there still one day of MWC?
If the payout seems like itās way too low 2 weeks from now, then maybe there is some reason for concern.
They had no idea what effect announcements may have had on price while at the MWC.
They are smart enough to figure out that they need to give a person a reason to bother or whatās the point of it all?
