July 2019 Electroneum forked to revolutionary new blockchain

@Richard - how do I get my NGO (I am from South Africa) involved as “Proof of Responsibility” miner?

Amazing job! Would have never expected a change of this magnitude :+1:
One question: How does this work on the Charity/NGO side? Do you hand them over an Antminer X3 and put them on a trusted IP list or what happens there?

I have no inside knowledge, so only guessing here, but I imagine that only a CPU would be required to mine on this version of the blockchain.

Energy can be quite expensive in some of the target areas making running an asic or gpu farm impractical.

Or maybe it could even be cloud based? One of the charities I work for is “off the grid” relying on diesel generator power. These only run for 5-8 hours a day. It would be impractical to add a mining farm to the power requirements of this particular organization.

I believe this was mostly answered here. It seems ASICs are not in play anymore at all.
