Electroneum Mining Farm Vote If Interested!

I’ll post any advancement in the concept here ! I’m glad others see this as an interesting concept as I do! @Thunder

This would have to be quite a big operation to compare with big Chinese mining farms, what would it involve in terms of staffing… ie. how much do the ASICs require petting and tending and being fussed over? Or do they just get on with the job? Then I guess we need security so people don’t come and help themselves to valuable ASICs in the middle of the night?

As for funding, I won’t say I’m definitely interested, but I might be. Whatever doubts I have are really to do with the scale of the operation needed to make an impact, combined with my own lack of knowledge on the subject.

If people could pay for it in ETN that would be good, especially after it has mooned a bit people might be more willing to splash the cash, whether that be towards a start up cost or regular running costs. I would not expect a big profit if i thought it was doing some good… if i paid 10,000 ETN to get 10,100 back I’d be quite happy, don’t know if those figures stack up at all.

Official involvement would be good and help build trust. I assume there is nothing to stop a company being involved in mining its own coins, but maybe after regulation, who knows?

Of course it would need to be a somewhat thought out and strategic plan. Of course we won’t compare right away but if we started a test sight that is profitable and scalable than I believe the interest in the community would be there.

What if the subscription membership was linked with this also so you subscribe to help run the blockchain and get a little extra back!

Its all about the numbers and if any profitably would be there to run to operation and give a little % back to investors in to. But I believe this is profitable even if just barely. And if reusable energy is used there will be that tipping point where energy cost are very low if done right.

Thank you for your thought @Pete as opens my mind more on the concept I really believe it would be a positive thing for Electroneum.

I think this is a great idea for a community. Will be Happy to support as much as i can :slightly_smiling_face:

Thank you for your opinion I also think there are many people willing to do this for the common good! Thank you for support I will post here any further progress on the concept!

Another great concept has been brought up talking with @Stefo

Being able to buy a bond (not sure if proper word) directly from electroneum. Basically being able to buy a bond in electroneum that you have to hold 5 or 10 years. I believe this would be another great addition to electroneum. After KYC I think this could be possible? Feedback on this is also appreciated thank you community!

@Jokke sorry i forgot u

With KYC implemented I believe that we could somehow integrate that with the renting and that would increase how decentralized it is greatly correct? Am I correct on this I’m not completely sure. I think it would because it would spread out the reward much more than the mining farms collecting a lot by themselves.

That is very great information @Jokke and I agree with you and that’s a great way of doing it! Do you believe Electroneum should integrate this themselves for a way for the community to support the blockchain and invest and possibly subscribe? Or if it were outsourced by a trusted partner(community member) who starts a company. What you said seems to be a good way to operate it in a scalable method.

Translated in euro, we are about €100k. Go on…

Some relatives in Oslo. Anyone get?

@Jokke i knew that this job is very expensive, that’s why i’m thinking about a kind of crowdfunding in the community, with the CEO agreement

PS: this issue had pumped a little the price… :joy::joy::joy::joy: i’m joking

I agree it should start smaller as a hobby if not done directly from electroneum. Than it can be tested and grow with demand. But an initial funding to investors with all return of overall profits could be incentive to get a crowd fund to do something great. One thing I am big about is green energy as I believe that this will be the best way to do it in aspect of clean energy and revenue. If hardware and warehouse was supplied by the fund is potential for good ROI imo especially for initial investors with the % of overall profit. @Jokke @Stefo

Electroneum should create their own asic miner for themselves only imo. Patented and have a supply for the community. The work to get it done being outsourced to trusted company maybe partner??? @Jokke @Stefo

I definitely understand the obsicals and that tomorrow it could not be profitable or the Asics could be sold out because it is so profitable. It’s mainly the concept as we all know that technology will be changing ever so fast. Is it possible for Electroneum to run their blockchain cloud mining and we rent ram space? I have heard of things like this before but am not very educated in this. @Jokke @Stefo

I don’t have Facebook if that’s you and what you’re asking haha @Jokke

This is a great article filled with facts and information! @Stefo @Pete @Thunder @Electro-dragon @J5Alive @B.F.A @Aironeous @Pahini. @Ds2vet @RSKNOR
