Great Britain was not so long ago, all by itself, in regards to Europe. There was no European Union. Those who are old enough to remember this might just have a different opinion…thinking more like back the way things used to be.
States in the U.S.A are not exactly the same as your sovereign countries which have been sovereign for centuries. The United States also began with a Constitution to which the states adhere, generally.
Whereas your sovereign state of Great Britain gave a bit of it’s authority away to a larger union (European Union), Great Britain and the United States of America were and are sovereign allies.
The way you and I see the powers that be may be different. It certainly sounds like you are content with the relatively new European Union as the entrenched power of the day. Others feel like the whole of Europe has been overwhelmed by lax immigration laws, and individual countries are losing their identity in the name of multi culturalism. This also changes their laws. Some people don’t want that…hence Brexit.
In America, we do have a problem with corruption, Immorality, and lack of law enforcement in some areas regarding our borders and illegal immigration. It’s straight up good vs evil. People are bleeding out of the Democratic party because it’s the party of abortion, illegal votes from illegal immigrants, and generally irresponsible, unaccountable, immoral a$$hats. Criminals so deep in corruption…just follow the money. There you will find the Deep State frantically clawing at any distraction or lie to keep the rule of law from exposing their massive tyranny and criminal corruption.
Trump will deliver on his promises to drain the swamp of it’s establishment operatives who have settled in over the last century in the highest levels of government and law enforcement. The charade is ending.
