Do an edge lit acrylic sign for Electroneum accepted here. If you need to see examples of edge lit acrylic signs with base done with laser cutters and how they were made I can give you a link.
You can even do it with a hanging sign where the light is hidden underneath the piece that holds it to the chain/rope.
