Yes I have too seen some bad stuff said about them, never used them myself though.

HitBTC is wash trading.

hitbtc doesn’t have good reputation according to their user… we do not want etn to experience their vulgar activity

Until regilation hits this is just reality with all exchanges unfortunately.
