Double dash is auto removed / converted

Ive seen ppl ( well mostly @cuddlesquid ) posting code or commands, and forum seems to remove the extra dash by converting them to a
long ‘em dash’

typing single dash: -
typing double dash: –
typing double dash with space indentation: - -

makes it hard to copy&paste commands from forum

unless you use Preformatted text around the dash(es)
typing single dash: -
typing double dash: --
typing double dash with space indentation: - -

preformatted text around the whole text or code block does not work

is there any obvious solution to this?

@RSKNOR So I might of figgured it out slightly,… If you place a character prior to double dash and combining double dash with following letters, then its Ok :joy:

  • –wallet

  • test --wallet
