ETN will stay ASIC friendly, which means that GPU mining will/is obsolete. I understand that ASICs are important for faster transactions and all, but what if there was a multiple pool option. Pools that support only ASICs and pools that support only GPUs.

That way ASICs wont overpower the GPU miners and you can set the difficulty higher for ASICs so the amount of coins mined is similar to the amount of coins mined with a proper GPU mining setup.

No, that would mean they would have two different blockchains, which is outrageous. The difficulty is on the entire network. Current pool’s port difficulty doesn’t matter. Less difficulty pool makes for usage of only 1 ASIC, let’s say, big difficulty pool is used by multiple ASICS. So yeah, a pool for GPUs is not possible.
